Cell and Cartridge Collection for Charity

Donations benefit Anixter Center

The LPCC Community Outreach Task Force is coordinating the Lincoln Park Cell and Cartridge Collection for Charity, a collection drive for used cell phones and empty laser and inkjet printer cartridges. Collected items will be sent to the FundingFactory, a fundraising and recycling program that converts the items into cash. All proceeds from the collection will benefit Anixter Center’s educational program for children (the LPCC’s 2006 holiday charity recipient). The collection will take place during September and October, with drop off boxes available at LPCC events during this time frame as well as at various member businesses throughout Lincoln Park. Every time you donate a used cell phone or empty printer cartridge at an LPCC event in September and October, you will be entered in a raffle to win various prizes. For more information, please call the LPCC at (773) 880-5200.
